watch winder does not wind vintage rolex
I own a 1959 rolex day just; it has recently been servicedhowever when on the winder it will not wind .. it simply stops after its 'charge' has been used up even though the winder is on ...My modern Exp II and an automatic (cheap) Seiko are fine on the winder any ideas ?? has anyone come accross this ??

Well, I'm in a pickle, but only figuratively. I just ordered the Victa retrograde which I like but I also have eyes for another. It's the Orsa Monstrum in silver/green. I like them both and both are hard to come by and I'm afraid I'd never see much of either again. I was informed that Panerai was on the way to produce a special edition model exclusively for their boutique in Istanbul. Last week, I had a call from them telling me the watch is there and waiting for me. I went there in a flash. My first impression is quite positive.
