With the new installments of the Star Wars franchise approaching faster than the Millennium Falcon in hyperdrive, Nixon are ramping-up the anticipation with the release of the new Nixon Star Wars Dark Side Collection. Following in the footsteps of the Storm Trooper and X-Wing Pilot Ranger watches that were released earlier this year (see our writeup here), the Californian brand has added a few more models celebrating some of the films' best-loved baddies. There are another six Stormtrooper models, and two more Imperial Pilot Watches. Bremont Supermarine Watch Now More Super With The S2000
The biggest "cultural" difference between the Bremont Supermarine 500 and the Supermarine 2000 (aka S2000 - no, not like the Honda) is the little text at the bottom of the dial. The Supermarine replaces the old "Swiss Made" with simply "London." Does that mean the S2000 is not Swiss made? No. Instead, it shows that Bremont has come a long way in its ongoing journey to be a serious British luxury brand. It wants people to know that it is English through and through, and will eventually lead to movements made in the UK as opposed to Switzerland.The Supermarine 500 remains my favorite Bremont watch to-date. First Post(Finally have another Rolex)Sorry for the long post
Let me first say great forum, I have been reading posts here for a few days. I discovered this forum through the Rolex Reference Page and a email to Mr. Holbrook. He suggested that I would enjoy this forum and he was right.Let me give everyone a quick background story first about Rolex and I. My dad first had an Explorer then a Sub while I was growing up. The Rolex fascination came young to me, about 13. By my senior year in high school I could wait not longer, while other kids were getting cars and class rings I was getting my first no-date Sub(wished I would have kept that one). After high school I went off to Army Basic Training(didn't take the Sub with me)When I graduated I had a pocket full of cash so I promplty went down to the AD on Christmas leave and traded my Sub for a Black and Red GMTII( They gave me the whole 2 grand I paid in trade, now the 2 grand thing is why I wished I could have kept it. Need some help locating watch parts...
Hi all,I was hoping someone here might be able to help me locate a few replacement parts for an old Seiko 150m quartz divers watch I have. I believe the caliber is 7548-7000.I wore this watch while I was in the army some 20+ years ago, so it has lots of nicks, scratches and dents, but has a great deal of sentimental value. I'd like to get it running again, but when I opened up the case back, I found the battery retaining strap was bent, and was missing one of the two screws that hold it in place. It probably needs a new case back gasket as well.Aside from sending it in for repair, would anyone know where I might be able to locate the parts so I could swap them out myself?Thanks very much in advance!:):)Best regards,Geoff
