- Got this watch for my hubby and he loves it so much. He got so many compliments already and it's only been one day. This definitely looks way more expensive than how much I paid for it.

Cartier WE902045 wrist watches news:
Hey everyone,Found this article on the IWC forum, and thought it was very educational. I for one didn't know some manufactures get the raw ETA movements in raw pieces, completely unassembled and then prior to assembly by the manufacture they replace certain components. I think it gives a good glimpse into how a base movement is greatly modified & made into a semi-'in house' movement. While the article is directed at IWC's use of the raw components, I'm sure the concept carries over to others manufactures of similar modification manufacturing.Article was found on the IWC Forum, and was originally published from the Uhrenjournal, 20 November 1998, an Austrian watch publication.-Uhrenjournal on IWC's Use of ETA Base MovementsQuestion: How can a fine watch manufacturer such as IWC, state, that despite using an ETA-serial calibre, it renders a base ETA movement into a new, superior IWC movement? For example, what changes are made to an ETA-Valjoux 7750 calibre before it is built into
My wife purchased a Wolf Watch Winder for me for Christmas. It has the ability to wind clockwise, counterclockwise or both and can be set to start when you turn it on or after 12 hours. From what I can tell and my research on this brand it seems to be a very nice device. However, it doesn't keep my Oris Diver Date wound. If I leave it on the Winder for more than a day or so, my watch stops. Does anyone here have any advice for me? Should I use the clockwise setting? Or one of the other two? Does anyone one else have any problems with their Oris and watch winders?I've tried to do research on Google but most of the hits I get are for companies that SELL watch winders.Thanks.

Hi all, My wife dropped and cracked the sapphire crystal of her Speedie auto(ref: 3311.80)The price quoted for replacement at local SC is ridiculous. I would like to ask if anyone knows the part number of the sapphire crystal. Any recommendation of website where I can purchase it would be greatly appreciated as well.Cheers.
Ahhhhhh. After a most 8 months I still find this piece quite the eye candy. What do you guys think?
