IWC IW37326102 wrist watches news:
The Red Dot Awards are international prizes given annually for design excellence in myriad products, from eyeglasses to cars to household appliances. The 2015 winners in the watch category have been announced. (This is the first year that the Essen, Germany-based Red Dot organization separated watches and jewelry into two different categories for judging.)There were two top winners, each earning the title ¡°Best of the Best.¡± One was the most famous, most highly publicized, most vigorously hyped watch in history: the Apple Watch. No need to describe it here. The other was made by a company nearly no one outside the watch world has ever heard of: MB&F, or Max Bu?sser & Friends. Its ¡°Best of the Best¡± watch was the Horological Machine No. 6 Space Pirate. The watch has five domes: two show the time and two are for, as MB&F describes it, ¡°twin sphered turbines that spin horizontally, automatically regulating the winding system in case of excessive speed to reduce wear and tear.¡±
The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry has published the well-known reference Berner¡¯s Illustrated Professional Dictionary of Horology on its website. The dictionary is in French, English, German and Spanish, and it allows translations from one language to another. For example, search on a French term, then click the British flag icon to display the definition in English. The dictionary is located on the FH website.
I bought a Tissot -Ladies collection for my wife...so I can have stronger arguments when I will buy a Longines Hydroconquest:D:DDoes your wives/girlfriends support you for this hobby?Or is the opposite?
Anyone had any success with them?I have a 15300 and always struggled a bit with the fitment. Now that I have a couple of other pieces with the glidelock, it has become even more evident. Two links out, its somewhat of a bracelet and slides down to my hand too much and crown dig happens. Three links out and good when my wrist is straight but any movement and it is too tight, leaving an impression on my wrist. So I think the 1.5 link is the answer but curious if anyone here has had any success with them before I order from APNA. Thanks in advance! Photo below for reference, this is with 3 links out. Took one out this morning as with only two, it was sliding around too much.
Well I finally did it, bought my first Omega! I've really liked the orange bezel 42 PO since it came out a few years back, I had shopped them a few times but never actually pulled the trigger.Found this one locally, original owner, immaculate, worn once or twice, full set with box and papers at a great price. The only negative for me is that it's on a black rubber band rather than steel...I'm going to post a Want to trade bracelets in the For Sale section, hopefully someone will be interested. Also interested in other bracelet options, what do you wear yours on?Paul
