For those that do not know, a 'marriage watch' is usually a watch where the movement has been fitted into a different case for various reasons.To-day, I came accross this: R0LEX Co Ltd 25 WORLD'S RECORDS ANTIQUE WRISTWATCH 1936ORIGINAL ENAMEL DIAL & 15 JEWEL TIMED IN 6 POSITIONSOn examining the picture, we can see the crown is at 12 o clock, so we can then presume this watch is the movement from a pocket watch fitted in a new case.but I know Rolex ONLY made one (very brief) pocket watch in 19o5 period, then quickly moved to wrist watches.But according to the seller this IS an original Rolex (in a STAR case) I think NOT.But according to the seller this is an Original Rolex Face, I think NOT. Porcelain faces by 1936, I think not?The hands are wrong too.The whole watch is VERY strange.
