A local store had 2 Seiko 5 autos marked down to $40. One white and green. I went with the green. I think that's a pretty good deal and it will be nice to have an auto added to my work rotation. Plus of course, I won't shed a tear if it gets banged up at $40.The Seiko 5 uses the Japan automatic, Caliber 7S26B, 21 jewels. At 37mm, it seems tiny!

dual time vs chrono
I'm thinking about a dual time and was interested in the mechanical complexity vs. Chrono. How much more will service run? I typically stay away from Chrono but I really like the dual time. Thanks!

Hi gentlemen. Looking for some advice. Considering trading my two year old Speedy Pro + $1k for a new First Omega In Space Speedmaster. Thoughts? I really like the < 40mm size, leaf hands, lack of crown guards and calf strap. I also like that it's different; I've never seen one in the wild.
