watch looks better in person, the band was little tight at first but since it's leather it did loosen up. I've got a lot of complimates . The band could be a little longer for guys lke myself.

Troubles on the "Love" U-Boat...
I've heard this one of the better watch forums on the web and a clearinghouse of "horological information"...I certainly hope so. I've got a "maximo problemo"; a stripped thread on a 24mm screw pin of my Flightdeck. The pin's slipping out and that ain't good for keeping it on the wrist. Trying to find a replacement has been a nightmare...The "helpful folk" over at U-Boat are talking a "2 month+ wait time" for a pair of 24mm screw pins. UnbelieveableWhat company or brand of screw pin could be a suitable substitute for the U-Boat Flightdeck CAS 50mm? Something (temporarily) would be better than nothing while waiting for the "Itallio Joes" to source a pair or two.

New strap!
I've been wanting to buy the Rubber Breitling strap for my Colt 44 but didn't want to spend the money and then not be happy with it. I was at my jewelers the other day looking at watches when I saw he had cheap rubber straps. I figured why not, it's only $25.Just installed it and I love it! The quality is actually really good for only $25. I'll keep this one for now but I will be buying the Breitling strap eventually!

Open papers - Is it acceptable at Omega service centre?
How does Omega service centre treat a timepiece with open papers? Will they honour the warranty?Note here the jeweler info is missing, as well as the date is unfilled. In all my previous Omega purchases with AD, the Jeweler info is preprinted. They only fill in the date part by hand...
