TAG Heuer TAG Heuer 40017 wrist watches news:
A circular stainless steel case surrounds a soft, full grey dial with hands industrial bronze light end and bar markers. This original Kenneth Cole New York arrives in a box gift white, is water-resistant to 99 feet (30 metres) and has the reliability of quartz movement.
My name's Joe and I joined this site after seeing John's very informative and interesting RolexReference page.I was particularly impressed by the recent article comparing the 116613 and the 16613.I have a special request for John or anyone else who might be willing. I know that the new two tone Subs and GMTs are using solid gold, while the previous models used hollow links (excluding end links.)I am trying to determine exactly how much of a difference in gold there is between the old bracelets and the new ones. This would be fairly easy to obtain for anyone who owns any ceramic two tone and its predecessor. If someone who owns both watches removes the bracelet from the case, and removes the clasp from the bracelet, then determines the difference in weight between these two bracelets, we will know exactly how much extra gold we're getting in the upgraded bracelets. This is something that I'm extremely curious to know. If anyone who could do this would be willing to, many many thanks on be
SBDD001Hello to all in the J&A!Best,Phil
Since recently picking up a Rolex 1675 GMT the '68 Speedmaster is not seeing much wrist time anymore. I guess it's time to put it into long term storage. I'm going to seal her up in the an original NASA storage bag used to preserve a flown Apollo astronauts watch (who shall remain nameless) and then put it into the bag used to store the watch at the National Air and Space museum (NASM) for 35+ years until it went on display a few years ago.For any of you NASA Speedmaster fans, here is an image of how the Speedmasters were sealed and stored after they were returned by the astronauts and cleaned.
I spoke with HSWalsh and Andrew advised me on the best tools you need to adjust bracelets and remove them. I will post pics of the correct tools you need. HS Walsh are uk based.
