When did Rolex stop making quartz watches
I'm sorry if this question as been asked before but I could'nt find it here. I want to know when Rolex had stop making quartz watches, I seen some from time to time either on the internet or at pawn shop's and even fleemarkets yes I've seen them their, Quick story I saw one a few years ago roughly six or seven the seller had all the oringinal box and papers when I had asked how much he wanted he told me around $ 4,500 I looked at him and said that's a little high,because you could buy an automatic (Rolex) and he says but their rare. So are quartz Rolex watches rare. P.S. the watch I was referring to was a men's date just.

My first Seamaster!
Up for your perusal is my new (to me) 1960 Seamaster. The band is a little loose but silky smooth. It also seems to be keeping good time. I'm really rough on watches so I don't see this as an everyday wearer (work week). Should I get a winder to keep it on while not wearing it? Does it hurt a watch to let it run down during the week?Looking forward to learning about all things automatic.Tim
