I got a new computer this week that matches the beauty of my YM. I switched from having a 7 year old PC to the new 27" iMac. Why did I wait so longI should have made this switch years ago. I could go on and on and on about how this switch has made my life much better, but this is a watch forum so I'll merely mention that I never have to wait more than a second for WTF to load or to scroll down the page vs long waits with my ancient, old machine. An Alternative to the Valjoux 7750
Here is an alternative to the Valjoux 7750. I suppose this is what Mr.Hayek was lookin for in the industry. New movement. Its the Eterna Caliber 39. The project started back in 2007. Can't wait for it to come out into the market. Looks very impressive. Will have to wait and see how this compare to the Valjoux 7750(my favourite mov't) and the Valgranges A07. LiquidMetal and a new AD
I've been out of the loop on watches for a couple months as work has been way busy and my spare-time has been spent on my other addiction: motorcycles.So I stopped by a local jeweler the other day to look at a pre-owned Sea-Dweller (not the Deepsea) I had seen on their website. As I walk in the door, I'm greeted by a complete surprise...the jeweler is now an Omega AD!!! I had a great conversation with the manager and he was excited to offer Omega. He said it was difficult to get the dealership since Omega is moving to the boutique model. He was even more excited to see someone walk in who was wearing an Omega. In any event, he was very well stocked with so many nice watches from the Seamasters to Speedmaster to AquaTerra's to a Skyfall...which I didn't pick up on right away that it was the new Bond watch (I know...I know...) I was too overwhelmed at finally getting my hands on my PO dream watch to notice. On my way out, he gave me a catalog and it has of course found its way int

Happy Birthday to ME; my first PP
After wearing and enjoying the fine products from Omega, Rolex, IWC and AP it was finally time to pull the trigger and enjoy this beauty from PP. I've been eyeing this model for about a year and came across a great opportunity. While I know the majority of the RF guys seem to prefer the tropical rubber strap, I find this particular PP stainless bracelet to be a work of art and fine craftsmanship.
