Chopard, already a longtime sponsor of the prestigious Mille Miglia race and official timekeeper of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, this year strengthens its ties to auto racing by becoming the official timing partner of Porsche Motorsport, which makes its long-awaited return at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.Absent from the international racing stage for 16 years, since its 16th victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Porsche Motorsport Team makes its grand comeback to competition in this year’s LMP1 Endurance World Championship with a brand-new vehicle, the Posrche 919 Hybrid. Unveiled at last week’s International Motor Show in Geneva, the Porsche 919 Hybrid features Chopard branding on its side mirrors and spoiler. It will participate in all eight legs of the 2014 racing calendar, with the first round scheduled for April 10th at Silverstone. In addition to the Porsche LMP1 cars, Chopard is also partnering with the Porsche Manthey team, which will line

I asked this on one of our other forums, but wanted to get the BBB Brotherhoods thoughts.. Would you pay a little more if Breitling offered a sapphire case-back & highly decorated movement to view? Lets say $200-300 at most. Would you pay a little more to have a sapphire case-back & very detailed, decorated movement? I'm not talking the current movement, which is very nice. But Geneva waves, the 'engine swirls' (don't know what they're really called) and all that detailed decorating. To me, that would possibly be a counterfeit deterrent too. Doing that level of decoration isn't easy. And to the best of my knowledge, there aren't any fake makers that ever duplicate a decorated movement anywhere near what the originals are. Plus, I do enjoy gazing at the movements of the watches I do have on sapphire case-backs..So what's your thoughts. Would you buy one or prefer the standard steel case-back?

Got my new Forged Carbon today. Its pretty sweet, heavier then expected (119.9 grams) and wears larger then expected too. I couldnt imagine a Legacy or T3!!! Thanks to Thomas and Ken in helping me with this decision... and of course all the enablers posting their FC pix!!!
