Parmigiani Fleurier recently released a preview of one of its four new Tonda M¨¦tro?timepieces, which the brand will officially launch in Geneva this January, at the 2016 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH).The launch of the new collection will showcase the work of a talented photographer that the Parmigiani manufacture worked with and will feature four cities around the globe, each representing a different Tonda M¨¦tro model. Most automatic watches are round, especially these days when most watches in general are round. But when Elgin started selling automatics in the 1950s, most watches were anything but round. Squares, tanks, tonneaus, etc - round was relatively uncommon. So, a number of the automatics Elgin sold were also not round. These were introduced in 1953. Elgin had created its own autowind movements, the 607 and 618 'Bumper' automatics, but they were large and were already obselete when they were in
Hello, I am trying to find out how much a service - less polish - would be for my 15300 ST. Both Watches of Switzerland and Owen and Robinson, have not bothered to reply to e-mails. Audemars Piguet website only shows Swiss Francs, so i presume has no UK reference. Many thanks in anticipation of reply.
Here's my current lineup. Let's see yours!
