Last straw for eBay
I have a perfect rating on eBay, and have maintained that for the whole 3.5 years I've been buying and selling yet I just got this message from Paypal when I went to check on payment for a watch that sold last night:While you establish a successful sales history on eBay, in most cases, funds from eBay sales are available in 21 days - or sooner, based on how you ship the order. To help get your funds faster, print your shipping labels on eBay or PayPal, upload your tracking information, or mark the items as shipped on eBay. If your buyer reports a problem, it may take longer to get your funds.Okay, just a misunderstanding, right? WRONG! I called and asked a rep and they said that the hold was put on my funds since I don't have any transaction history in the last 6 months. After a brief back & forth and some attempted spin control from him, he finally admitted that despite my flawless record I'd have to re-establish my history as if I was a new member. Sorry, but that's a crock.

Hi,After 8 weeks, my new watch has finally arrived! I chose this watch to compliment my rose gold Breguet Classique Automatic 5177 and as a new case shape for collection. I wanted a white, noble metal watch that was somewhat dressy, but also would be at home when dressed casually. A manual wind was desired but not required. I wanted a watch that was easy to set-up as part of a larger rotation.As I understand it, the Gondolo collection was launched relatively recently by Patek standards; only about 20 years ago. It is named after a line of historic pocket and wristwatches manufactured by them for the Gondolo & Labouriau (a Jeweler in Rio-de-Janeiro) in the early twentieth century.This line of watches is Patek Philippe¡¯s homage to the Art Deco style that was popular from the 1920s¡¯ to the 1940¡¯s.
