Sotheby’s May 9 Geneva sale saw international collectors out in force, staking their claim both for big brands and, even more noticeably, for rare and historic timepieces. In total, the sale realized $6,338,588, well within pre-sale expectations. 53% of the lots sold achieved prices in excess of high estimate, with sell through rates of 78.4% by lot and 81.8% by value. The evening’s top seller was lot 90, an exceptional three color gold, enamel and split pearl shield form automaton, c.1805-10. Estimated at $360,000-450,000, this small and complex automaton, featuring a shepherdess tending two sheep near a waterfall, excited interest across the globe. Guys,Ready to pull trigger .... my trusted preowned watch dealer in Jakarta offer this BNIB ROO Chrono Safari New Model...its USD 18.3 k....He said the watch will come with valid AP warranty....is it possible? That I buy BNIB AP at preowned watch dealer and still can get the warranty? Or is it just the store warranty?What do you think guys? Regards,

Confused or is it fake?
I've been browsing for my first PP and noticed a few things with the Nautilus 3800 models especially in the gold/steel and gold models. It's like out of nowhere there are a few extremely cheap ones on Chrono. But it's only for this model and material so it seems. Here is the one that had me searching like crazy as to why it's so much cheaper than others .chrono24/en/patekphil...acturerIds=194I just don't get how a full gold watch can be sold for that price unless it's obviously a fake or plated but the seller is trusted with good score. Then there are a few of these two tone 3800s that are super cheap too and just don't get it. Can someone help educate me about these instances please? Looking to get back into panerai
So I'm finally looking to get back into a panerai after wearing nothing but rolex for a while. I previously had a 000 and ended up selling it as I didnt particularly love it and consequently didnt wear it much. My options at the moment are1) A use 3272) brand new 424 (no date)3) brand new 4254) used 243I personally much prefer the radiomir case shape as its closest to the old military panerais and sits flatter against my wrist, but I also really liked the 327 (surprisingly I found it more comfortable than the 000). My worry with the 327 and the radiomirs are that they only really look good on leather....so during summer it'd be difficult to wear them a lot as I am often in the water and I sweat a fair bit. I dont like the look of the submersible as much as the others but being auto and with date function it'd be more versatile. I've also tried on a 305 but found it pretty big and couldn't get a nice fit with the stock rubber strap...Which would you go for? Also what's everyone's experi
