I normally don't cover boutique openings (so I am not likely going to start now) but in conjunction with the opening of their new Shanghai Pavilion boutique, Harry Winston released not one but five new limited edition models. None of these are novel per se mechanically -but offer some very beautiful interpretations of things we have seen from the brand as of late.This year Harry Winston released their new Premier Feather collection of watches that showcased a unique form of real feather marquetry on the dial. Craftsperson Nelly Saunier delicately produces each dial by hand (about seven hours each) using hand-picked feathers. What is the Smallest Watch Case Diameter Size in MM that You Would Put on Your Wrist
Everyone is comfortable wearing a watch of a certain case size diameter. It's called their sweet spot. Above that point the watch appears way too big and below that size it appears way too small. Each person is different. I would be interested in seeing what you guys like. For example I prefer a watch case diameter between 46mm and 50mm. What's your watch sweet spot.

So my wife comes up with this great idea.......
My wife and I will have 2 kids in college come August. This is about to get a little tough. So, we've been discussing ways to cut back a fair amount to prepare. I was thinking cancelling a couple of unused gym memberships or dropping Netflix. She, however, had another plan(s).1) Sell a couple of those expensive watches I never wear. She referring to a Speedmaster, Milgauss, and my white Daytona C. She then says those 3 combined should be around 10k. YEAH RIGHT!!!! I could go ahead and keep my GMT bc it an all around watch.2) Sell my Porsche Boxster and just keep my Tundra OR trade in both for a nice SUV maybe an Grand Cherokee or something.I looked at her a moment and realized she was actually serious. I then had two options- committ her to an insane asylum OR explain to her that her brain storming session was not going in the right direction and that some student loan debt might build some character (just kiddin, kinda) Just had to share this humorous moment with my TRF bros....
