- I just got mine in the rosetone and I absolutely love it! It''s very classy. Can wear it dressed up (I''m wearing mine at work right now) or dressed casually. Would definitely recommend it.

- Although the face of this watch is larger than I expected, it's great. If you want simplicity and a second hand, this is the ticket.

IWC IW 3714 wrist watches news:
Hi all, looking to get my dad a 2 tone Sub (gold/SS) as a retirement gift. I'd like to get the latest pre-owned model possible understanding that it's going to cost more. I believe the most recent changes to the Sub were made in 2009 but I've been told by a dealer that even if I bought a model from the 90's, the differences will not be discernable but I'll save several thousand $. I'd like to stay in the $6k range. In your opinion, will I be able to find a 2009 for $6K our would you go with a 2000-2005 for $5K (or does the year model not even matter compared to the condition?)Thanks for the replies.Bonefish9ft 8wt Sage Xi3
Hi all, I'm new.I have my mother's 1950 Elgin Lady Watch that I want to give to my sister for Christmas. I wanted to know more about it and visited the Elgin site where you can look up a watch by Serial No. The results are somewhat puzzling. The serial number I have is F95246. After searching that number, it tells me 1) that the watch is a 19 jewel, however, the watch clearly states it is a 21 jewel. It states 21 on the watch face and on the inside of the watch. When I opened the back to get the serial number, the jewels were red. Are they rubies? 2) They indicate by way of an asterisk that it is nickel. Not sure what they mean. The watch back says 10K G.F. Bezel / Stainless Steel Back. This watch has a mesh band.Lastly, the following was also where I located the serial number: 906 ADJ. Does anyone know what that means? Before I give this watch as a gift, I just wanted to know more about it. I'm old, but I'm new at watches, which my Dad loved with a passion. This watch keep

Vulcain is a brand that is very rich in history. From the dawn of the brand by the Ditisheim brothers in 1858, when it was know for its Chronometer grade and complicated pieces, to the development of the 1st functioning mechanical alarm wristwatch (the Cricket) in 1947, the brand has been renowned for it quality. I am happy to say AZ Fine Time is now an authorized dealer for Vulcain.Vulcain-1 by JoeAZFT, on FlickrIn 1947, Vulcain also started being worn by US Presidents. Trumann, Eisenhower, Nixon, and Johnson all wore Vulcain Crickets and utilized the alarm function when necessary. Today, it is still labeled "The Presidents Watch" and even owned by our current president.Vulcain-14 by JoeAZFT, on FlickrAll Vulcain Crickets are in house manufactured in Le Locle Switzerland, the same city in which it was born. This year, Vulcain also added heavily modified & decorated ETA based movements to the series to add more variety. Vulcain-22 by JoeAZFT, on FlickrVulcain-25 by JoeAZFT, o
