Thursday evening, F.P. Journe and WatchTime magazine joined forces to host an intimate evening of cocktails, dinner and timepieces at the stunning West Hollywood F.P. Journe Boutique. About 20 collectors and the WatchTime crew, including editor in chief Joe Thompson, sipped Dalmore Scotch whisky and Champagne as Pierre Halimi, F.P Journe General Manager Americas, welcomed guests and shared industry stories?and insights. Collectors?were then treated to a private dinner at an exclusive West Hollywood restaurant, where the wine?and watch talk was bountiful. Lately I have taken a liking to Audemars RO Diver. In the past I didn't feel I could wear one because they always wear bigger and I have a smaller (6 3/4 inch) wrists. I tried on a RO offshore chronograph (42mm) and it was still a bit large but doable . Does the RO offshore diver (42mm) wear any smaller? Does anyone with smaller wrists have the diver, and if so can you submit photos of how it looks on a smaller wrist? Thank you in advance.
I recently acquired an Omega 2077-2 mfg. in 1939. Upon looking a schematic of the watch movement there are a couple of levers missing and the chronograph buttons are also missing. Also need hands for this watch. Anyone know where I can get the parts to repair this watch? Thanks for the help. I am newly registered with this forum.
So I had a Speedie and got rid of it. Now I wish I had it back. I am all Omega now basicly with a 2254 and 2255 in my collection. Now I am longing for a speedy pro again. Maybe ill start looking.
After 5 years with my deepseaI have been looking to add another watch to my collection recently. Came back to the forum and notice the brand is getting less love than before. Anyways I always like the Pam005, thinking if I should buy it as brand new or used one. Found one at local AD Selling $7200 CAD after 12% tax. They said it's hard to find so discount is minimal. If I were to buy a used one where should I look? Thanks
