Longines L2.142.4.73.2 wrist watches news:
Just got my first IWC.the case says 3513 1.But all the models with that number has a date on the 3oclock spot. Can anyone tell me if I bought a fake or I should just relax? Thanks. Here is the watch...cgi.ebay/IWC-Schaffhausen...DLVI%26ps%3D54Jonathan
I have been enjoying a new Accutron VX200 Diver for the past several days and thought I would do a review.Size and heft: This is a 43mm dial with a large, easy-to-grasp crown with the Accutron tuning fork logo etched on it. It has a substantial feel and heft but not so heavy that it is an effort to wear.Dial: The dial is done in a matte black finish. It is easy to read. The red and black unidirectional bezel is done in the same matte finish. I don't know what the lume material is, but it glows like a flashlight. I suspect Super-luminova but I don't know that for a fact. Even the logo at the 12 o'clock position glows brightly. The second hand is black with a sporty red tip with the tuning fork logo at the opposite end. The date is at the 3 o'clock position absent a cyclops. SWISS MADE is at the 6 o'clock position. Sapphire crystals front and back.Movement: An ETA 2824-2 powers the watch. It is smoooooth. This is my first ETA time piece. I haven't checked the accuracy since
A discussion on the WTF Watch thread got me thinking: Which do you prefer on a strap watch; a deployment clasp or a buckle?
I love this watch and thought perhaps we can have a thread displaying them. This is mine from 1969 -
I have a recently found myself being interested in panerai again. Last piece I had was in 2006 and have not really followed the brand that much since then. Anyways, I'm starting to look at a possible purchase but there are so many existing and upcoming models that I figured I'd come here for a little guidance. From the Pam's I've had in the past I managed to make a little money on resale but I understand that the market is not what it was so I'm looking for something that will not break the bank. Under 10 k for sure. I really wanted a 47 case with either a 372, 422, 673 but I really don't think I can pull it off. I have 7 in wrists and from what I can see that is borderline. The nearest AD is 5 hours away so I can't really try one on so I'll just stick with what I know....44mm. My wish list is short and hopefully you can steer me in the right direction. -44mm luminor polished case-manual or automatic wind -sandwich dial in black or tobaco-gold hands is a must. - date not necessar
