Hublot 542.ZP.1180.LR wrist watches news:
It ain't a Hamilton, it ain't a Bulova, it even ain't an Elgin but heck, it's an automatic, it runs and it's old(ish)!I think it's from the 70's or late 60's, plastic face but the dial is still nice and it runs like a dream! I need to give it a good cleaning, but it might be a nice little beater watch I could wear to work or something.Now, funny story.When I was digging around in a yardsale the other day, the lady who was hosting it came up and started idle chat. When I pulled our the Timex, the immediately took it and started saying nonsense like "Vintage art-deco style" and "incredibly rare to find' blah blah blah. Anyway, after listening to her little schpeil I finally got to talk her into me buying it for 1$. Anyway, I'm sure someone out there has a Timex and likes it, so don't be afraid to say so!
Seems like we've been talking about strap/bracelet options for a while now...I want a stainless bracelet for my diver - and that is becoming somewhat difficult to acquire...can't seem to get one from a boutique - they say it's not 'available'...Curious how some of you guys got yours...I've seen a few on chrono24...but the price seems eerily low...What do y'all think the best route to acquisition would be?Thoughts???Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Please do you have anything to stop this ragging itching that has recently started again.I had the same symptoms last year that i managed to clear up with the purchase of 15300Any way i have started searching for relief and bumped into this panda today.The search continues {sorry for poor phone pic}
Finally I have found an alternative green dial. I've not seen the peacock dial in the flesh but it looks nice in the pictures. Its a limited edition and I have the chance to buy it now, one read lots of good things about Grand Seiko but not own or held one before, anytime with any experience with GS?
Does anyone know what the RSC does with all of Your Parts they keep after servicing your watch and installing some new parts ?
