- The watch is very cute, not quite like a typical watch but more than a bracelet. The band is very large and I am not sure how to size it down, which is very aggrevating.

The Serie OA watch boasts a discrete dial, performed in silver or black. It is equipped with minute markers. The dial also exposes a 31-hole date indicator or date aperture, positioned at 6 o'clock. The new creation from Franck Muller is accompanied by a black, brown or grey leather strap, finished with a steel buckle. Alternatively, it can be presented on a steel bracelet.
I'm not the most computer astute person in the group, so perhaps one of you can help. I almost never get to see the photos that are posted in the messages. I get the little box with a red X in the top left of the empty photo box. Is there something missing from my computer that I need to load? Thanks a million!KarlB
I like Vintage Ladies Hamilton's, and from lurking for a couple of weeks I have picked up on the general lack of interest in the forum...understandably as the contributors seem to 95% maleHowever, whilst there are days when I am not a lady, I am female. Are there any links to sites, or suggested reference materials for the ladies watches that you can put me on to? I bought a Hamilton Trudy a couple of months back, and got badly hooked and now have 5 Hamilton's. I really like the mens watches too, and am keen on collecting, as most of the pre-electrics are a perfectly OK size to wear.Oh, and I live in New Zealand, so about as far from the source as it is possible to get, but thanks to ebay/paypal/USPS and Fedex, it really doesn't matter too much. There are a surprising number of Hamilton's in NZ, due to the number of US servicemen based here during the war, and visiting post-war. Plus New Zealand is a place that tends to attract a lot of Westerners who are looking for a peaceful outdo
It's got the look & the features that I find in a great tool...A thick and beefy case, a nice flat hardlex crystal & screw down retaining ring, Some HE gas resistence which is a plus, great seiko lume, a high torque 7 jewels quartz power plant w/ antimagnetic shield, unidirectional 120 click ratcheted bezel, and 200m water resistance!Hope you like the shots...[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Cheers, Jim
