- Bought the watch for a gift and better yet it could be personalized with the person's name on it as well as their fessionalism. Couldn't find a more perfect gift elsewhere.

Franck Muller 8880CDT wrist watches news:
The panoramic whirlpool Corum watch displays a new both horological Corum skills that they have designed this clock with a transparent front and rear cover. These transparent covers allowing the wearer to see through the watch also displays its mechanical movement and the Vortex, which are very compelling to look at. This movement is housed in a casing or very elegant and luxurious square shaped 18 k pink gold and the bezel that they corresponded with a leather thong elegant Brown crocodile. Apart from the workings and lugs which are on its dial, it includes also reveal black hour and hands minute which indicate the time. The time on this watch can be adjusted through the Crown on the position of 06 of the case.
So I dug up my Dad's old Seiko that he gave me and snapped some pics for fun:Here's what I know about it:-My Mom bought it as a wedding present in July 1971-Front says:SEIKOautomaticDX17 JewelsAt the bottom of the dial, barely readable, it says JAPAN 6106-6019P (last letter could possibly be R)-Caseback says:SEIKO6106-6007074106-Strap says:Hong Kong100% stainless steelKreisler-When I shake it it runs fine, and although the bracelet is a little too small which keeps me from wearing it for a whole day, it has been keeping time for the past few minutes I've had it out. This is somewhat impressive, as I seriously doubt that it has been serviced or opened for the past 40 years.I'm interested to see if anyone knows anything about it or how much it may be worth (not that I would sell it). Also as a side note, how much would it cost to give it a service? I think at some point I will be obliged to give it a tune up, as it is a family heirloom. Thanks for looking!
I received an e-mail from ulackfocus last night...just kind of getting in touch. I hadn't heard from him in a while and I didn't even know this place existed He suggested that I drop by, maybe show a couple of pics, tell a couple stories and meet the guys here. So I registerred last night and it seems pretty cool. I know everybody has there own style of watch collecting, some people specialize in vintage, others catch and release....for the most part I buy new and never sell. I try and buy pieces that I think will never go out of style, classic designs if you will. It is my dream that one day when I am no longer...that my son will treasure these timepieces and the memories of all the things we have done together. I was watching a very popular, very reputable auction...live via the internet one day when a Breguet Chronograph in Platinum came up...it was rated AAA with some great comments so I bid, and I bid, and eventually won the piece. When it arrived I was dissapointed with the c
