How if at all, has your taste in watches changed since being on WTF?
Hey PalsThis is the continuation of my series of twenty questions While some things remain constant, most change over time. Has your taste and appreciation of watches changed since being on WTF? I know mine have.As some of you may know, I was a total newbie this time in 2004, having only discovered what a bezel was, would you believe. Well, I had no need of such knowledge in my world and circles then. Then too I was perhaps only just discovering sports watches, initially divers as one does. I have changed many watches over the past years as I grew to discover and hopefully learn about watches. One thing that was certain back then was that chronographs had no place in my life and neither did manually-wound watches. All that has changed of course when I decided to post a thread on the Speedmaster back in September of 2006. Knowing nothing about the watch, I had to make a study of it and as a number of you may know, the moment I placed one on my wrist I knew instinctively that the Speedy

New Olympic Omega country-specific Wallpapers
You guys seen these yet? Just stumbled on them:OMEGA Watches: Wallpapers Vancouver 2010There's a wallpaper of a bobsled team (I'm pretty sure it's the picture Omega's been using on their Olympic ads), but the 'blur lines' are in each countries colors. So you can download & save the one for whatever country colors you'd like. There's also one done up in the Olympic color scheme. I thought they were pretty cool..

Purchasing a Speedmaster
Is there any sure way one can tell a real Speedmaster Professional from a fake? I'm currently looking at one that the individual says he purchased from a reputable seller 'sabashioyakiz1' earlier this year on Ebay. While I certainly am interested in a new 3570.50, my budget is only around $2k. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was reading that Seiko has some larger sized models coming down the pipeline, I couldn't really find anything on their website, does or can anyone confirm this? and will they be making a larger version of the orange monster?

Are Watch Enthusiasts Rude?
I'm sure I'm not alone on this board, but I find myself, at times, admiring the particular watch I happen to be wearing at the moment. When this happens during a meeting, or during a conversation, I sometimes get funny looks! You know, the "What the heck is he looking at the time for, again!" look. I don't know if it's just me or if others have experienced the same thing!
