Round-Up By Kenny YeoWelcome to the very first edition of watches-dealer¡¯s twice a month round up special. Two times a month, I round up the best watch articles and reviews from watches-dealer and from around the internet for your reading pleasure. Here are my picks for the first half of April.1.? Bell & Ross Aviation Instrument Watches 2013For the past couple of years, Bell & Ross has released a couple of aviation-themed watches based on their signature BR01 case, and this year is no different. 2013 will see three new aviation-themed watches. The three new watches are named Airspeed, Heading Indicator and Climb, and their names are a good indication of which cockpit dial provided the inspiration for the design. Powering these watches are ETA movements.Although these watches are not the first word in legibility - especially the Heading Indicator - they stay true to Bell & Ross¡¯ older aviation-themed watches such as last year¡¯s Altimeter and the older Radar. It was raining today so I decided to do some cleaning and reorganizing. Below is a picture of my Rolex accessory collection. Others have posted their collection, so this is an image of the haul that I have accumulated.I just posted my Accessories page at minus4plus6/accessories.htm that shows more details.-Sheldon
For a total, not counting mailing costs .....of $145.....plus or minus a couple of bucks.....just did a rounding up sort of mental addition .....2 Hamiltons ( $35 is running ( Milton 1948 to 1952), $24 needs work but ticks when shaken ( Norden cld 1948 to 1952)) ( and a tip of the hat to coastcat for locating them in the catalog for me !) 1 Tissot ( $4...needs work)2 Walthams ( $11 60s model works, and even the date calender flips at midnight, the 30s ($34) works too)1 Benrus ( $16 works great) 1 Sigma ( $6...doesn't work) 1 Wittnauer........( $16 ....needs a crown, but cosmetically it's extremely nice, immaculate) so half of them run, and the other 1/2 .....go to see Jerry as soon as I get back to Michigan .....WHen everyone gets here, I'll do some photos .....I missed a couple I really would have liked to get ....( ADHD strikes again ) but all in all ......I am pleased with the group
It's got to be on the forum several times, but I searched to no avail. I know Rolex is bi directional 650 TPD for watch winders, what about Patek?
Does anyone know what this model is, or what it is worth to buy? The back wouldn't latch shut. Has some scratches on the surface.
