Automatic chronographs are wonderfully complicated movements, and the race to produce the first ended with the announcement of the Chronomatic in 1969. This movement was used by Hamilton, Heuer and Breitling (to name just a few) all the way into the 1980s. Opinion for a first time AP buyer
Hey guys, In the upcoming couple of months I have decided that I am going to buy myself a royal oak. I am torn between a two models.The 41 MM Rose gold Chronograph on a bracelet or the 42 MM Rose Gold rubberclad. The salesperson at the boutique in NYC told me that they are going to be updating the ROO 42 mm for 2014 (In house movement to replace JLC specifically on that watch). I am unsure if they are going to do anything aesthetically. Which would you go for first?

Don¡¯t hold your breath as my wife is not letting me open or use it until after Christmas. She sent me a tracking number of an item - I¡¯m not exactly sure if it¡¯s a watch, or a Rolex for that matter... but per the FedEx tracking, it¡¯s signature required. I️ honestly do not think a new pair of jeans will require a signature for delivery.I am so tempted to open it but afraid she will know and get angry.
