Cartier W6920047 wrist watches news:
hi, today while at an AD i tried on one of my fav rolexs the GMTIIc and i love it. so i put a down payment on it right away (no discount :'( and im not allowed it for 6 MONTHS :'( ) as i was walking out i was chatting to the "watch guy" and he started showing me the spring drives. they are georgus and have a sexy sweep now there the same price in aud 9670(rolex) 10K (SD), i have two months to change my mind if i want the question is should i?? they both have a independent hour hand rolex has 31? jewls and SD 43 jewels. SD has 72 hrs power reserve and the GMTii 50? so i am doing the right thing? i love the GMTii more and its a sexier watch but the technology and movement have just...just something about them, the way it sweeps.ps i know im posting this on a Rolex forum so i know most post will be bias.but any info would be great
John, loved the article on your Rolex Reference page about who makes the better movement between the Rolex 3135 and Omega 1120 movements. My first good watch, a Bond SMP 2531.80 did need to be overhauled twice in 4 years before it finally stayed locked in COSC standards but it is a great piece that I'm quite proud to own. Luckily my Sub has needed nothing in the way of adjustments in almost two years. I've not been interested in the least for any Co-Axial escapement Omega watches because I've read too many reports of them not quite working as advertised and because for zero appreciable reasons the Omega watches that have the Co-Ax cost almost twice now what I paid for my SMP. Omega needs to dump the tarted up escapement contraption and get back to just making great reasonably priced world class timepieces and leave the gimmicks to less prestigious brands.

Hi guys I recently acquired a Seamaster with a 562 caliber movement, I would like to know how can it be adjusted, its got a swan neck system. Regards Francois
I wouldn't normally write a review on a forum such as this but as Panerai divides the community both as a brand, it's various models, LE's etc I thought I'd give you my own findings. As with many the brand has apppealed to me for a long time but I was never ready to make a purchase. My interest initially was for a Radiomir, but it just didn't look or feel right on my wrist. 44mm was disappointing, 47mm like a dinner plate. Moving forward a few months and passing Selfrigdes in London I dropped in tried a few Luminor. Suddenly 44mm Luminor made sense, but, manual wind as the auto felt too thick and top-heavy. (47mm too big) Back to the forum to get more advice and most recommend a base dial to start. I did like the 590, but on seeing the 390 I loved the tobacco dial, gold hands, the fact only 2000 were ever made and the fact that it was a base. Within 3 days watch was on my wrist. Yes it's big, yes it's heavy compared to my vintage 1675, but it still fitted under a cuff and flies under th
