Back in December I raved about the very well-done Linde Werdelin Land Instrument. The curious watch computer was more than a futuristic digital module on your wrist. It was a senor laden array of features and important data. British Linde Werdelin created the Land Instrument to fit on top of its existing watch line, literally. The Land Instrument can be used alone, on its own watch strap, or mounted right on top of a Linde Werdelin Biformeter watch.Many claim that the Liden Werdelin Land Instrument is ahead of it's time, but I claim that if it "can be done," then do it. TAG Heritage Series - Planning to buy tomorrow!!
Hi guys,I've been looking to purchase a new watch for a few weeks now and have looked at a number of brands but my favourite is the TAG Heuer Carrera Heritage Edition as below:CARRERA Calibre 16 HeritageAutomatic Chronograph41 mm Silver, ¡°flinqu¨¦¡± effect, blue arabic numerals ALLIGATOR bracelet | TAG HeuerI have a few questions:1) I saw the CAR2114 in store which is the 1887 movement, but there is also a CAS2111 (Calibre 16 movement). I thought the 1887 would be more expensive, but the prices the store gave me was CAR2114 ($5750) and CAS2111 ($6450). Could someone explain what the difference between the two are (aside from the small hour hand being slightly different, and the buttons for the chronograph)? Also, they both use the FC6292 band, so while they look different colours in the below image, I'm guessing they are in fact the same colour. New PM 36 MM Datejust
With the 116238 being the current 36 mm PM DJ, perhaps Rolex should offer the DJ in other PM. There are the 116139's which are the WG versions of the 116138. The 116139 is the only 36 mm size DJ I know of that is in solid WG, and it is on a leather strap and not a bracelet.Perhaps Rolex can make a 36 mm WG DJ with a WG President bracelet instead of a jubilee. I think that would be really cool. Perhaps they could do a RG DJ with a oyster bracelet .. I'd buy either one of them if Rolex came out with a different 36 mm DJ
