- I have a large wrist and aside from having to order two extra links (no blem) this watch is chunky and really stands out, in fact, if I had another grand I would buy the blue faced version!!!

Click for a larger view of the imageThis composition titled "The Sea of Time" by English artist Kyle Bean well represents my feelings a lot as I navigate my way through the (sometimes stormy) world of watches. I thought you'd enjoy it as well. You can see more of Kyle Bean's work at his online portfolio website here.
Hey al l still relatively new to the Omega forum. I got my first Omega back in September and never took the time to get a good shot of it. Luckily, I found some time to this weekend to pick up the camera and attempted to get a decent shot of it. It's really hard to photograph, but I love the combination of brushed and polished steel on my Aqua Terra. I wanted to make sure that that the subtle difference in textures and materials was captured in my photo. After about 4 hours shooting, and another 3 editing, I think I achieved it.For an image buildup in addition to more behind the scenes images, check out my blog post on my website.Omega Seamaster Photography | Behind the Scenes | A Creechure's PhotoBlogI also created a landscape orientation to use as a wallpaper if anyone is interested.
Saw that there are quite good deal in the ebay. Looking for a Hamilton. Is it safe to buy from ebay from seller with tons of good review ?
is too many?I have two 10-watch cases and two single watch winders, plus a couple athletic watches I keep on the dresser for a total of =~24 watches, plus I just pre-ordered another and have my Arktis in Germany being repaired. I was thinking the other day that maybe I have too many! I wear two predominantly and I probably wear 8 more on a semi-regular basis, as I go thru phases of what I want to wear. Should I start unloading some watches? I can't possibly get enough wrist time to some that deserve it!
As you will see from my recently created vintage Patek Philippe watches, I am considering getting on and after watching such sites as Chrono24, I find that there are quite a few vintage Pateks that are reasonably priced, and for a few thousand British pounds, gets you a watch from one of the top brands in the world. This started other questions bouncing around in my head. Lets classify a vintage piece of being at least 40 years old1) Would a vintage Patek Philippe have required more personal involvement -handmade then a modern piece?2) Would a vintage piece require more frequent servicing then a modern watch?3) Is servicing costs of a modern piece cheaper then a vintage watch? 4) What other pros & cons should you consider before choosing vintage or modern? Please dip in with your own thoughts?
