Out of Left Field - my new Oris
I've just got back from a holiday on the Gold Coast of Australia with the family (thread in Community Forum to follow soon), and while there I managed to sneak in a couple of visits to watch dealers nearby (hey, I'm pretty 'starved' for variety where I live).I visited The Hourglass (a familiar name to those who live in S.E. I stopped by today just to check 'how things were going'. I liked what I saw !! I was told that by Christmas it will be completed ! ;)

Self regulation by case position?
Can Omega movements be Self-regulated like Rolex movements?for example, leaving the watch flat with the dial up gains seconds, leaving the watch on it's side crown up, looses seconds.my 1120 Omega is loosing 6-10 seconds per day (going in for service), but the flat, dial up position overnight didn't seem to help much.any experience with this?

Hey guys, I grabbed this piece about two weeks ago. After some suggestions, I think it is the perfect Patek for me in terms of bridging a casual lifestyle with some dress attributes. I decided I really can't go to a more dress watch at this stage of my life, but this one is a good intermediary. I am very happy with the decision.
