Harry Winston 350/MATZWL.A.BD wrist watches news:
In my opinion this has to be one of the best "bang for the buck" watches. High end quality throughout at non-high end price.
Hello. I'm new to the forum, and this is my first post. I owned several Hamilton quartz models years ago (a couple of them branded and sold through L.L. Bean), at a time when Hammy's were very hard to find and many people knew absolutely nothing about them, so I'm thrilled to see the current renewal of interest in the brand.Anyway, I'm somewhat intrigued by the new Open Heart model (specifically, the white dial with gold applied numbers version). Does anyone have one ? Would love to see a wrist shot. Also, I will be in NYC for three days next month, and would like to visit some Hammy AD's other than Tourneau, of course. Can anyone offer some suggestions for me ? Looking for ADs who know the brand well and will offer discounts. Thanks very much.
Hi All, I can't help myself, I love the Royal Oak. It is also such an icon for a steel sport watch. Comfy and looks great. But I am little bothered by a depth rating of only 50m on a sport watch. Come on AP! An icon of watch making, why cant they make their flagship sport watch 100m? Many other brands can and in a case that is just as thin. A bit frustrating, as I live near the beach and like to swim in my watches. I am not trying to insult any buyers or the brand. I still hope to have one one day. So with that said, does anyone have any guidance on how careful one must be with the 50m rating on AP's? Anyone have any water issues? Thanks.
The snob paid a nice nod to AP's 41 mm RO and the 3120 movement:.askmen/fashion/mens-w...k-watches.html
It had to happen one day! While I was putting on the watch, I accidently dropped it from about chest height. It fell face down on the tiles in the kitchen. The crown guard got dented and there is a crack on the glass at 6 o'clock.Went to Panerai 5 hours later and brought it in for glass replacement. Verdict = 200 USD. I specifically asked not go repair anything else, nor polish it. I like it when my watch looks rugged but I can't stand the glass being broken.I did however asked them to check if everything is alright with the movement. It kept time between dropping it and bringing it in, so I suspect no harm was done on the movement. They will do that free of charge.
