Breguet G5827BRZ25ZU wrist watches news:
For 2014, Jacob & Co. returns with a rather amazing watch creation sure to impress everyone from traditional watch lovers to the public at large. Watch the video below of the new Astronomia Tourbillon and it is easy understand why "wow" is a typical response to this complex and very interesting horological creation. When and whether the Astronomia will actually be produced is another question, but even if the timepiece remains a digital video I would be happy at the creation of the mere concept.Jacob & Co. was one of the first watch makers to understand the power of "insane watch," that being a mechanical watch of epic complication meant solely to wow and impress in a manner akin to the tone and content of many rap music videos. These are designed to be "ultra-luxury lifestyle" watches for people who buy new yachts when they are bored and surfing eBay on their phone while waiting for their personal bankers to exit the toilet of the yacht they are currently sitting in. The only
I like to try and pop in here at least once a day, to learn from the interesting threads, laugh at the entertaining ones and most importantly of all to admire the photos. I'm terrible at posting on forums, much more of a listener than a talker online (not at all true of me in real life though!!), but 13 days into 2009 I have decided to add a new years resolution to the list! Post more at WTF!! This forum has the best atmosphere of any I visit so I feel that time spent here is more productive than most of the time I 'waste' on the internet. There have been some great photos bouncing round here lately, what with the photo competition as well as the usual high standard, and its had me itching to take a photo or two that do my GMT justice.Last week I popped into Marks & Spencer's and spotted a little camera tripod for ¡ê3 in the sale. Perfect I thought, finally I may be able to take a steady pic of my watch! So today I got out the old (literally very old!) camera, a few sheets of white A
I noticed a Doxa posted on Saturday's wrist check. I don't see much about Doxa here. I know the brand has a huge following....some WIS own 4 or more. Who on WTF has a Doxa? Got pics? Let's talk about this brand. What do you like about it? How many Doxi (pl?) do you have? What's your favorite model?Clive Cussler and Dirk Pitt would like to know, too.
I have been re-bitten by the bug recently and when I go to my watchmaker (almost every day because he gets new vintage watches every day) I can't stop buying from him (that's another story) but I recently acquired a bunch of new stuff. Usually when I get a new watch I just get ONE, and I where that ONE more often because its new. Now I just got a bunch. So I want to wear ALL of them!!! How do you decide what to wear?!?!?! I am switching between watches every hour! I have these for my new ones and want to wear all of them for different reasons! How do you decide what to wear?
Hi GangI'd like to get a custom strap made. It would be straight 22mm. Anyone got any ideas. Also, I'd like it to be 4.5 to 5mm thick.ThanksBob
