Cartier 597669MX wrist watches news:
When F.P. Journe unveiled his Octa Sports line of watches back in 2011, we (the royal watch collecting "we") could simply not believe how light they were. After all, the F.P. Journe "lineSport" pieces, being the Octa Sport and the Centrigraphe (CTS), were made entirely of aluminum. Yes, aluminum! They were so light, they almost felt fake (seriously). They were not fake, they were just absurdly light, and absurdly cool. In fact, the very first aluminum CTS sold at Christie's for over $467,000. Yeah. That cool. But, all things must evolve, and today we have a look at the new line of sports pieces from Journe ¨C the very same models, but instead of the incredibly lightweight aluminum, they are now in titanium. 2 OF 18 The switch from aluminum to titanium was indeed a structural move. The soft qualities of aluminum posed some difficulties and Mr. Journe felt a completely titanium watch would still provide the incredible lightness the lineSport lovers were used to, without any
.....the one that went off for $1,136Black face, no "Electric" printed below the 7 spot......Kosher dial? I don't think so.But an EXCELLENT price for the seller.
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and good time with the family and friends. Now for a resolution...Learn to take real pictures!!To be fair on myself, I was using a dvd case on its side as a mono-pod and had some pretty shoddy lighting, but these are the results of playing with the new setup for the first time. With a proper light tent and tripod these should hopefully look better! From the universal subReverso Duo Night and Day (sorry for lint and thumb prints. Fingers were quite greasy)And to give a good idea of what this simple, inexpensive lens is capable of:With macro lens (and full zoom)Without macro lens (no zoom but same camera position)
Hi guys,I recently had my 97 Bond Bracelet refurbished with new pins from the omega Boutique but I am still concerned with losing a pin ( I recently lost my Bond Chronograph whilst riding my motorbike due to a faulty pin).I was wondering if there is any way to seal the holes where the pins slide in?Anyone have any ideas?thx...
Pun intended...I love the GMT complication.....The 116719BLRO has always been a grail of sorts for me. I can't help to think sometimes that less is more, and maybe i'd be better off flipping my 116710ln, 16710, EXii black dial, and zenith moon (which i rarely wear) plus cash for a WG BLRO. This would leave me with Deep Blue, Bluesy, and what I really think is my grail, the end all be all, the WG BLRO. I realize I will lose the versatility of the 16710 as I have all three inserts, but some how I feel having something in PM will make up for that. Now I realize some do not like the colors of the 116719 bezel, that is not an issue for me, so let's not let it be a reoccurring theme here. Also, I'm not concerned with the potential appreciation of the 16710 as I buy to wear, not for future speculation of value. At this point I am merely thinking of the idea, so please no PM's offering to buy the 16710 from me. What I am wondering, is for those of you who have consolidated from more to a big l
