Seiko SNZB23J2 wrist watches news:
I'm sorry if this question as been asked before but I could'nt find it here. I want to know when Rolex had stop making quartz watches, I seen some from time to time either on the internet or at pawn shop's and even fleemarkets yes I've seen them their, Quick story I saw one a few years ago roughly six or seven the seller had all the oringinal box and papers when I had asked how much he wanted he told me around $ 4,500 I looked at him and said that's a little high, because you could buy an automatic (Rolex) and he says but their rare. So are quartz Rolex watches rare. P.S. the watch I was referring to was a men's date just.
Hello everyone. My wife and I are talking a trip to Italy. Interested in comments/suggestions on quality Italian watches to buy while there. Looked around on internet, but thought your experences would be more helpful. More interested in quality than price and want a great representaion of Italian pride and workmanship. Thoughts?Jaguarsix
For anyone interested in this "new kid on the block" their website is up (shinola) and they're displaying their wares. Watches in 41mm and 47mm (including chronographs) in different dial colors, ladies watches, and different leather accessories. It's an interesting site and worth a look.(As Shinola previously announced here, all watches are quartz for the present time. If they stay successful, perhaps they'll explore adding a mechanical or two? Only the future knows.)They even have a live web-cam on the factory floor! Just get rid of the spaces and make it one long web address(Sorry- as they're not a Sponsor I can't post a hot link)www .shinola /our-story/about-shinola #shinola=- mhqq1KCZOFor go here: livestream/shinola
In your opinion.
Why would Rolex remove all references to 904L steel from its website except these two articles and begin calling their watch material Oystersteel?https://.rolex/rolex-history/1971-1992.htmlhttps://.rolex/watches/rolex-...materials.htmlOne of the articles says: Rolex became the first watchmaking brand to pioneer the use of 904L steel for the cases of all its steel watches. Most commonly used in high‑technology and in the aerospace and chemical industries, its excellent anti-corrosion properties are comparable to those of precious metals and it offers a final polish of exceptional sheen.Sounds perfect! Why can't Rolex just leave it at that? I guess it wants to differentiate itself from other future watch company users of 904L? It just seems silly. It was a nice development in 1985 when Rolex started using 904L and its easy for people to understand what 904L is once explained to them. Period. There is no need to give 904L a weird name to impress the unwashed masses. I guess Rolex sh
