The Lew & Huey Riccardo Needs a Kickstart
We're always glad to see people trying to make new and affordable mechanical watches, and we're happy to help spread the word when they are using Kickstarter or other crowd-sourcing platforms to fund their project. This most recent project that was brought to my attention is of particular note, because the watch isn't just a mechanical, it's an automatic chronograph, which is especially difficult to make affordably. The problem, naturally, is a lack of movement options.This is the challenge that Lew & Huey watches set before themselves when trying to make their first watch, the Riccardo. Their solution, of course, is to use a Seagull ST1940 caliber automatic chronograph. Coutura Band Pin Broken
Hello all,I am hoping to get some good advice from knowledgeable watch folks. I have a Seiko Coutura watch. I dropped it a few days ago and it broke a pin. It is the one closest to the actual case itself so the first link. It appears as if it is much smaller than the links made for removal to size the band. I am guessing it is one that isn't easily removed or replaced. It is either held in by two half pins or the pin was sheared (my guess) because I saw a small section of the pin fall out but part still remains and the band is secure, but a little loose. How should I go about fixing the band? Head to a local jewelry store?I really appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

Received my new blue diver purchased from one of the forum sponsors.Love it so far. Was a little tentative about cutting the band but its all good now. Just use a brand new razor blade.A couple quick pics; hasn't been off the wrist much. I didn't get all the dust off,too lazy right now, but they will do.This does wear much smaller than the 44mm. I have a Lumtec Bull 45mm that seems much larger (it is square though).
