Hi all, Lisa here at Kindler & Thorpe. Some of you will know that we specialise in beautifully embellished Rolex and other fine watch brands. We are currently searching for a design - or a subject that might be particularly appealing to our clients in the United States. We are happy to credit your name(s) to that of the chosen design(s). This is for one (or possibly two) of our latest creations that will be completed in time for this Summer. We seek (a) a design or subject, and (b) which Rolex model you think it would suit best.If you prefer you can e-mail your ideas to me direct here otherwise we shall be catching up with your thoughts on this board on a daily basis. Thanks in advance for any input and ideas.RegardsLisa & Kindler & Thorpe
Hi,Today I received my first IWC...the Pilot Chrono 3717. I have to admit that it took me quite some time to warm up to an IWC but when I saw this I knew I had to have it. Fortunately a good deal presented itself and here it is.What can I say about this watch? Well, it's a whole lot of watch. Really smart looking, and I love the day function. The dial is so clean and simple and I really like the matte finish on the case. Now I see what the fuss is all about. It's very...under the radar. Kind of tool-ish in a weird way, yet very elegant. And I love the red seconds hand. The only thing I think can use some improvement is with the strap, it's really just very plain but I can live with it. I'll probably try on some other straps later.Without further ado here are some pics. Thanks for looking!

Thinking of picking up an Avenger II SeaWolf soon and was wondering if anyone owned it and the DSSD? I'll have to make it into an AD soon but figured I'd ask the forum if anyone had any comparo pics. Thanks!
I love dual time watches. They are a great tool for me where I can check different time zones easily. The Casio works awesome for that. But once you get hooked on to automatic/mechanical watches, there is no looking back. Got the SS SkyD, but something was missing. It just didn¡¯t seem right for me! So moved on from it.The GMT Master would have been a better choice, given you can track 3 time zone at once. The GMT LN was really nice, but it didn¡¯t sing to me. Finding the BLNR seemed more challenging. The one I got to try was already spoken for. Scouting every AD in every country I visited. Finally, I emailed the AD I got my TT Daytona from, about how much I wanted the BLNR. He put in a special order for me. Less than a week later got the call at 3 am(last night, I am 12 hours ahead of US). Even the AD was surprised that they got the BLNR for me so fast. So stoked Can¡¯t wait for it. Have to wait 2 weeks before I will be flying back to stateside. Eagerly counting the days down! Building a
