- Love the watch! I wanted this watch because it was different. I love the way the numbers look. It is very light. Almost has a cheap feel to it. Overall it was exactly what I thought it was going to be.

A. Lange & Sohne 140.032 wrist watches news:
This year at BaselWorld, Blancpain followed up last year's Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe (HODINKEE "A Week On The Wrist" review here) with a chronograph in a similar form. That's cool and all, but to me the most interesting aspect of this watch is not the available fully ceramic case, or the NATO with ridiculously hardcore hardware, or the general sleekness of the end product. Nay – the most interesting part of this new Bathyscaphe is actually what's inside. This is the first Blancpain to feature the brand new caliber F385, which is a ground-up new concept for them and a fairly impressive new development that doesn't seem to have gotten a lot of attention. That's about to change. 2 OF 24 First, the details of the watch. Sized at 43mm and available in either full ceramic or satin-brushed stainless steel, the chronograph is 300m water resistant and holds on to many of the design traits seen in last year's time-only Bathyscaphe. high gang,i have been putting the deepsea through it's paces and i wore it while making a pizza.i am happy to report that the deepsea made it through a ok!clps: couple of tips for making your own home pizza. first you need a bread maker that can make pizza dough, cuts down on time for the bread to set as well as mixing issues. secondly, not pictured but highly effective is the pizza stone. you can keep it in your oven and either place the pizza directly on the stone or place the pizza pan on top of the stone. the main benefit is that it distributes the heat evenly. the consistency and texture of the the dough ends up being like a brick oven pizza.pss: this is how i roll now
I see I just missed one on TRF. Does anyone know how hard a NOS 2254.50 is to come by? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I searched here and WUS and couldn't find anything recent about it...Also, any owners on here have the OEM Rubber fitted to share their thoughts on comfort? I have the newer stitched rubber and depoylant and love it in the pool and shower and hot days. Curious if the other rubber strap with tang buckle is just as comfy or more comfy. Thanks!
I have a PO with a 2500 and about a month ago it stopped all of the sudden, it;s my daily driver so it was wound.I played with it a while and I could get it to start for a few seconds and then stop again, it was Saturday afternoon so I took it off and decided to take it to Omega on Monday. To my surprise on Sunday afternoon I noticed that it had started back on its own and it hasn't stopped since.Om Friday the same thing happened to a coworker that has a similar watch but he's restarted a few hours later. What gives?
I wanted to get some feedback this time. Last year a picked up a 5164, a 5712G, and a 5980R on leather. I ended up trading them all before the end of the year. This year I added back a 5711r, a 5980-1ar and a 5712. I just traded the all rose 5980 last week as I could not get it to fit me correctly. I tried everything as someone else has recently posted. I felt that the watch was too top heavy and uneven compared to the 5711r and the 5712, which fit me perfectly. That being said, I already miss the 5980 (yet again), but I am honestly not sure I can wear the watch. I have missed my 5164 since the day I traded it and am debating adding the 5164r, or again the 5980-1ar. I know I love the 5980, but I am not sure it is practical when I have the platona, RM11's x3, dato, and other chronos in my collection. So I am looking for advice, I don't want to hear: well it sounds like you have your mind made up, because I haven't and I could add both. Fiscally, I feel like adding both is also not a
