Guess what everyone, we have yet a new podcast host! The technical drama continues and so does the watch love. Goodbye, Mevio - hello Podbean! The Benerus Megalodon Titanium, 4 (four) inches in diameter - okay, wait, maybe it's only 47mm, but seems like 53mm - is discussed, along with the topic of social interaction and watches. We ask watchmakers to make a watch that will survive a journey to the sun's core. The SIHH 2012 Roger Dubuis blue laser Mission Impossible/Matrix -esque experience is related by Ariel and the Roger Dubuis Pulsion Watches (he describes in detail in his write-up here) are discussed. Ariel is sick of the retro watch thing, so he likes the risks the Pulsion takes.John finds a way again to mention the Orange Monster. You guys think we are down on Panerai, so we express our true feelings.Listen to Episode 94 on the HourTimeShowwatches-dealer website here.Download the MP3 here.
I hope that folks here also won't mind tolerating some photos of my 'other' obsession To share some of my collection, which is heavily Montblanc influenced, hey I love their pieces :pI purchased a brand new MB 149, the Helmut Jahn Limited Ed. It now holds my Dad's vintage (I use it too!) 149.To this I have the 149 pen holder (not pictured) and ink well by MB.My entire MB collection is listed here for the most part, some pieces are still missing though.bsodmike/gallery2/v/m...nc_Collection/This is a portion of my FP collection:Pelikan M1000 (fine), New DuoFold Centennial, Dad's vintage Duofold Centennial with Marble blue barrel and cap, Montblanc Meisterst¨¹ck Le Grand, the new 149 I got with the Limited Ed. case, and Dad's older 149paring the 149 nibs...oh they are gorgeous!!!Onto my Montegrappas...Got the Turtle Brown last week......and a MB Bohem in Rose Gold that I got a couple weeks back.......LOL...I wonder what I've missed. All the best,Michael.

I thought we were going to take it easy on the timepiece acquisitions¡WIS ¨C Well, it¡¯s not that easy dear. You see, this is for a vintage Hamilton Brent.WIS quickly peers over his shoulder and notices time is against him. He will need to decide quickly, stick or go on the watch. Hi, I recently purchased a new medici with orange stitch and installed it on my PO. I am a fan of curved end straps cuz I think the gap between the spring bars and lug is way too big (am I the only one who thinks so?) and have been thinking about OEM rubber but my small wirst (16.5mm) can't take OEMs so changed my streeing wheel. I want the buckle to be in the middle of my wrist and medici is the best option for me.My first impression on medici is that the leather is super soft and the colored stitch easily kills boredom. I decided not to cut the fixed keeper and leave the fang (upside down position) so that it fills the hole. Here are some photos. thanks for looking,JW in Vancouver
Hi guys,Been a long time Rolex fan, but always had an itch for a panerai.Appreciate it's an entry level piece but very happy with my PAM005. Now for the strap shopping Here's a little pic
