Omega Omega 5253 wrist watches news:
Greetings, after owning an Omega Speedmaster for the last 15 years,i'm thinking of upgrading, and toying with the idea of purchasing a Patek 5085/1a as I like the look of it with the metal bracelet.Prices of these models are currently in the 18000 us dollars/12000 GB pounds range.A couple of questions, was this watch mostly exported to North America? as I'm having problems locating one in the UK as I don't want to pay import tax. Also, what was the original cost when new,and how much,if at all are these particular pieces likely to drop in the coming years?.I'm in no rush to buy one immediately so waiting a while is no problem but I think I will take the plunge soon acting upon good advice.Patek-5085-Ark-1b.jpg
This auction.I think I am correct in this....T-403 dial in an incorrect case (haven't tried to work out which case it is). Also not correct hands for a T-403. Refer to Tom's T-403 post.stales

So I know I've been all over the radar lately in regards to hunting down the next piece.I've been strongly considering Rolex Precious Metal, which most likely means flipping my YMII and possibly my LVC too (if i replace them with a PM Sub).Anyway, here's the thought process. Before I got my YMII I strongly considered and debate the DSSD as well as the AP Diver.I've definitely had my fears about taking the leap into AP. It's kind of like I've been vacationing in the same place for 20 years, and now I'm considering trying some place new. But the original place just feels like home. OK, blah blah, you get it.So here's where I'm at. I've been infatuated with the AP Diver for longer than the DSSD and the YMII. I love the look, the strap versatility, the feel and of course contextual history of the Audemars Piguet. If i was to seriously consider leaving my SS days behind me for PM, part of me feels like I need to knock the AP Diver off my horological bucket list.Does picking up the AP
The last few weeks have been well hot here in France. I just spent 3 days wearing my 216570 Polar (which I love) and was reminded how sweaty I find the bracelet. I couldn't wait to get back to my Diver's rubber strap, which I wear slightly large and find much less sticky. I now understand why PP call the Aquanaut's strap tropical, and find myself (once again) pleasantly surprised by how much I love my Diver, and its supremely comfortable rubber strap....
