I have inherited my father's AP Royal Oak. Can anyone help me ID the series and age? Model 4100SA, Case No. B41770-1123. My father was the original owner, but I do not know its service history. I have sent the watch to AP for service and they are proposing to replace the mechanical movement with the next generation of similar automatic winding movement. Always love reading the incoming threads and time now to start one of my own. After a few months of going back and forth between an AP or PP, AP won. Have been enjoying my AP 44mm RG novelty on weekends, but was missing seeing an AP on my wrist during the week. What a different feeling on Mondays when I have to put on my Milgauss to go to work... first world problems :).Had located some pieces in Asia and in the Caribbean with great discounts but ended up wiring to DavidSW this afternoon because of the convenience and positive threads here (thanks Roger for the nudge!).
