Zenith Zenith 44535 wrist watches news:
The inaugural Hong Kong “Watches and Wonders” fair ¡ª inspired by the rapid growth of the Asian market and showcasing new watches from 13 luxury watch maisons ¡ª was held September 25-28 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I present four new models (actually, line extensions) from one of the exhibiting brands, IWC.The IWC Portuguese collection has one of the longest traditions of all the watch families from IWC, and emphasizes clarity, purist elegance and innovation, combined with precision and state-of-the-art mechanics. The new Portuguese Hand-Wound Eight Days has all the Portuguese’s unmistakable design cues. The watch has a power reserve of 192 hours, or eight full days. A sapphire caseback provides a view of the technically sophisticated, rugged and reliable IWC-manufactured 59215 movement, which also incorporates a power-reserve display. The silver-plated dial has Arabic numerals and traditional feuille-s
Mondaine found themselves in a tricky situation. They produced and have produced for sometime one of the most iconic and easily recognizable watches on the market; the Swiss Railway Watch. The image of that dial, with its bold black markers and large red lollipop hand is synonymous with the brand, even though the design itself was from decades earlier and is still in use as the official Swiss Rail clock. The situation though doesn't have to do with that watch, it has to do with what comes next. Like a band with a great first album, how do they follow up? They couldn't meddle around with fleeting designs and fads that are forgotten a year later; no, they needed another icon.In fact, not just another icon, a Swiss icon, and they picked just about the perfect one: Helvetica. Designed in 1957 by Swiss designer Max Miedinger, Helvetica is the most used typeface (period). It's everywhere, and in the last few years has had its day in the sun thanks to the wonderfully made documentary "Helveti
I purchased this watch from ebay and hav not yet received it. The seller was very reputable 20k 99% + feedback and has stated that I could return if I was not satisfied. He claims this watch is 100% authentic. Thsi is my 1st Omega and am not 100% sure if this watch is 100% authentic or has had the dial refinished or anything changed. It looks to be in near mint condition with no signs of corrosion.Does this watch look 100% authentic? Is it possible that a watch this old could survive this long and look this good?Does anyone know the model/year and/or movement caliber?I searched the Omega vintage database and could find only 2 that look similarST 336.0803MD 366.0832I have noticed that all the Omega Geneve watches I have seen photos of with a white dial had boxes around the date window. Should I be concerned the date window does not have a box around it? Also, the luminous material on the hands and hour markers look too new for a watch this old. Is it possible for this material to l

Been lurking on here a bit, used to be pretty active on RWG.cc, but since purchasing a lovely hamilton x-wind, this is the only forum that would appreciate the quality value of their watches and awesomeness of mechanical 7750 mov'tI'm new, but I didn't come empty handed ;)Well, here are the pics, prepare to modem melt!!Started innocently enough. Hamilton X-Wind, with the stock leather strap. For some weird reason, this white-face model is a rare item here. Rarer than the rose-gold limited edition, as the white is not readily stocked at the local Authorized Dealer. As you can see, the numerals are brushed steel, and change colour depending on how the light reflects off of themThe RED accents in the face really set this off for me and contrast nicely with the white dial and black/grey numbers, and steel case.wristshots of the original.Look at that grain.Embossing in the back of the strap under the backside. again, detail is supurbThe stock X-Wind strap is a BEAST. Its slightly thicker than
