IWC IW510106 wrist watches news:
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to say that I'm a proud owner of my first IWC. I have been a big fan of their watches for over 8 years now, especially the Da Vinci. But ever since I saw the Exupery, I knew I had to have it. About a month ago, I was looking for a watch. And the Exupery crossed my eyes when I surfed the IWC page (i usually don't surf the page cause they are awfully expensive). I called everywhere and everyone told me the 2007 model was impossible to get. Well I found a dealer who said he would call me back and that he expected one. Of course I thought he was blowing smoke up my a$$. But load and behold 3 months later he did, and I made the drive from Toronto Canada down to NYC, well more like New Jersey to pick it up. I love this watch so very much! In the mean time, in those 3 months I added a Rolex Explorer II and an Omega PO to the collection.Picture of the two watches I picked up while we were in NYC this past weekend.- #47 of the Exupery - Power Reserve- for my w
I'm heading to Clearwater Florida for some fun in the sun in a few weeks, and I've been looking for an inexpensive beater with some bright colors to take along on the trip during which I'll be doing some inshore fishing. A few days ago I ran across this new Invicta Grand Diver model called the Yacht Timer. I comes in Orange, Blue, Brown, and Yellow dials, which is the one I ordered last night. The dial has a cool wave motif very similar to an Omega SMP. I really like the shape of the hands all of which are lumed, and the raised Arabic numerals. It also has an alarm feature, which should come in handy while traveling. Loving it :)
So I came across the video about 40 minutes long and it was an interview at SIHH of Aurel Bacs . it centered around the Paul Newman Paul newman That Recently sold for 17 million . One of the questions was about the morality of such an expensive watch . His cancer centered around charity and part of the proceeds going to charity .However interesting Comment was he knows the buyer and how much they Contribute to charity . So I was thinking that a Rolex contribute most of the profits to charity. Would they make Rolex the new owner of the ¡°Paul Newman .
I will also post a piece in ¡°Who¡¯s Who¡± but I would like to share my little story here also.I purchased an SD43 from Rolex Freak last week. The deal was seamless from start to finish with great communications and I could not have asked for a more accommodating or professional individual to buy from. The watch arrived at my home in the UK on Wednesday afternoon - less than an hour AFTER I had left to go to the airport to head back to work in Iraq for a month I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Sandro for his superb service.I now have 29 sleepless night to spend waiting for my baby......
