Breitling AB012012/BB02 wrist watches news:
Can anyone help me with this? I just received a new Hamilton Ventura (elvis limited edition) with the flexi metallic bracelet. Is the bracelet/strap adjustable? Cos my wrist is kinda small. Can I adjust the strap myself (doesnt seem possible after I looking at it the past hour) or do I send it to the nearest service centre and have them do it for me?Appreciate it if anyone can reply!G
I was wondering if anybody who knows watch movements can tell me if retrograding seconds cause more wear on the movement itself as compared to a movemet with the more conventional sweeping seconds. Maybe it's not the case, but i'm thinking any mechanism that has to torque a watch hand from a 60 second position backwards to the 1second position would be under a fair bit of stress.I am contemplating buying a watch with retrograding seconds and am worried it might cause issues for me down the road in terms of servicing and reliability. Does anyone have any long term experience with a watch that has retrograd seconds? The watch I am considering is the Breguet 5207:
A few days ago, I posted about watch winding times. Well, my ROO Panda hasn't moved in 2 days (after it was fully wound)I called AP on 57th st and was told to bring it in and that the Clearwater SVC center is closed until Jan 6th.Any ideas about how to get it working again? The crown feels very tight - had it in my winder at 600 bidirectional rotations/day. I'm slightly pissed...
So my initial plan was to go for a 5170P when it was released at baselworld this year. Despite it being a great looking watch, the diamonds were just not to my taste. So, i ended up going with my next favorite 5170, the discontinued white dial version. I was lucky enough to find one sealed, and went for it. Hard to capture the dial with my iphone - it looks very white / washed out / boring in most pics, but it is just perfect in the metal. managed to take a quick shot this morning...
