Oris 633 7533 9551 wrist watches news:
In addition to the new for 2011 Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph Automatic watch, Omega offers a new? Planet Ocean Seamaster Co-Axial Chronograph Automatic watch with the new in-house Omega caliber 9300. There is also a three-hand Seamaster which also has in-house made Omega caliber 8500 automatic. These new pieces are fantastic, and show just how dedicated Omega is to making its two core sport watch collections better and better. One quick note for you watch movements nerds. The original caliber 8500 for a few years ago did not have a silicon hairspring, but all the new versions do. What you see here the range of new pieces for 2011. I want to start with the more simple three-hand Seamaster Co-Axial Automatic. There will be black and blue version. The blue will have Omega's Liquidmetal bezel, but not the black one yet. Last year Omega came out with a limited edition Omega Planet Ocean Seamaster with a Liquidmetal bezel, this was to test the new ceramic/metal bezel. Since then Omega has
My first Hamilton arrived last week. I love the simple dialand traditional look. I usually wear a steel braclet watch to work and switch it for a Timex when I get home. This Khaki is my new casual watch. The strap is very comfortable and makes wearing the watch as easy as my cheap digital. The automatic version has a shiney bezel, but the quartz version has a satin finish. I'm very pleased with it and I'll probably get an automatic Hamilton in the future. My camera isn't good at closeups, so this is the best you get.
I have some great photos from Bay Street in Nassau of the watch shops that would let me take pictures. There was a nice representation of great brands, and I couldn't believe I resisted temptation. I saw a wonderful JLC Reverso GMT in 18K yg with a chocolate secondary dial and band. Now I know what strap I want for mine! I also saw the perfect Audemars Piguet manual wind. Of course I grabbed a few catalogs, and helped a friend get a great buy on a DateJust 116234 - no sales tax & duty free PLUS a 5% discount added up to a sweet bargain. I'll post photos of that excursion as soon as I edit them. One day our group got a surprise from a member's father who's a doctor on the Island. He had rented a private island just off the coast and we could snorkel & swim and then attack the barbeque. I got a return invite to go on his 65 ft Hatteras for marlin next time down. We must have traded fish tales for hours at the bar that night.Nice boat, huh? That's me in the water for sc
I picked up a cheap 24mm strap for my B1 for a trial (22mm lug width). What say you all?
I feel like this thing should screw down tight no?I read the book it SEEMS to say you dive with it in position 1.....I can push the crown down against the watch, but screwing lightly has no effect (that's' what she said) for it staying in (What she said again lol)
