Audemars Piguet 15202 BA.00.0944 BA.01 wrist watches news:
Over the years, Bulova has produced a boat load of differently styled divers and chronographs. During the 1970’s, they made several different diver chronographs with a variety of case and dial styles. Perhaps the most quintessential of the 1970’s was the Deep Sea Chronograph with “surfboard dial”. Produced for only two years, 1970 and 1971, this chunky diver has all the 1970’s hallmarks. My example was made in 1971, and is in all original condition. The dial is the main attraction here, silvery white with a fantastic blue oval “surfboard” encircling the two chronograph register sub dials. It has thick, applied steel markers with lume filled lines, and unique broad white hands with day-glow orange tips. I once heard someone refer to them as “cigarette” hands as they do resemble a cigarette with an ember at the tip! How 70’s is that? The dial has a tachymeter along the outer edge for timing one’s speed. It is signed “B
First off hi everyone i am new to this forum ,I have saved up some money and looking into buying myself a nicer watch , I currently have my eye on the WilliamsF1 Team Chronograph 2008, really like the design and it fits my budget . My question would be do they make come up with a new model every year ? should I wait for the 09 to come out and see whats it like ? would the 08 drop significant in price when the 09 is available ? For Oris , which line is there most popular ? I mean like a signature line ?Sorry was asking so many questions, I am new to this so I am trying to get as many opinion before I go out there and spend my hard earning cash
This is a watch that's owned by a buddy of mine in Toronto:My buddy took it in on a trade in the guitar store he owns. As you can see, it needs some attention. He dropped it off this morning for service, which is going to run him about $500.00.Can anyone here tell me anything about this watch? Approximate age, value, etc? Thanks!
I want someone to work on a couple watch that need turning and repaired like my Waltham pocket watch. Can anyone recommend someone here??
I have been looking for something to replace my G-Shock as my hiking/outdoor watch because I don't wear it often enough to remember how to set it, and it's a pain to pull out the manual every time I need to. I came across what looks like a good deal on two new Sectors. Both are quartz analog chronographs, one with alarm. They both have sapphire crystals, one is on a leather strap and the other a stainless bracelet. I was able to get both for right around $200 (that's for both, not $200 each). I am not too worried about whether they are mediocre, decent, or better watches since their intended use is for when they might get scratched up or dinged around a bit. Most of the areas my wife and I hike are rocky, so the possibility of scratches/dings/etc. is very real. I actually like the way they look quite a bit, which is a definite bonus. It'll be nice to wear a watch that I like while hiking, yet not really worry about babying it too much. One has a sand colored dial, and I anticipate it w
