Breitling a1732116/c832-3rd wrist watches news:
The WatchTime editorial team recently returned from SIHH 2015, and one of the trends we noticed at this year’s fair was a number of brands putting their own spin on the classical skeleton watch. Here are five new skeleton watches worthy of a closer look. The first Cartier Crash watch appeared in 1967 and its oddball, asymmetrical design ¡ª inspired by an actual damaged (“crashed”) Cartier watch ¡ª became an icon of the Swinging London era. Over the years, various versions of the Crash have appeared, produced in very limited editions, becoming cult favorites among Cartier watch enthusiasts. This year’s Cartier Crash Skeleton, however, is a true milestone in the collection ¡ª the first Cartier Crash with an openworked movement that is actually shaped to conform to the “crashed” dimensions of the case. I'm not the most computer astute person in the group, so perhaps one of you can help. I almost never get to see the photos that are posted in the messages. I get the little box with a red X in the top left of the empty photo box. Is there something missing from my computer that I need to load? Thanks a million!KarlB
Let's see some pics of the old mystery dial watch's guys! The mystery dial watch's were quite a hit back in the 50's. Mine is a Benrus and to be honest, it's the only Benrus mystery dial I've ever seen anywhere. Longines, LeCoultre, Juvenus and Lucerne seemed to be the big manufacturer's of these type of watches. Mine uses one hand and one pointer on a disc, but many have no hands at all. I think they are very cool and they make a nice conversation piece. What do you guys think? Here's some pics -
Lately this brand is exciting me more and more. I found last years catalogs and I am very impressed with their line.Has anyone ever seen one in person? This Perpetual really has caught my eye:Here is an article from Watchtime:watchtime/archive/wt_...008_01_086.pdfphoto from watchluxus
Why is there is a general feeling amongst the AP crowd that Hublot is undesirable?Having watched that Hodinkee video with JCB, I've become more interested in Hublot. Some of the Hublot Big Bang models look pretty cool and are much cheaper than AP. Is it because it's more of a trendy watch? Lack of pedigree?Interesting looking watches but not sure if I like them enough to buy one?
