- Great watch, sleek and a good size for kids. My 7 year old daughter loves it. I was easily able to figure out how to set it. My wrist is and I may buy one for myself.

Rado R21712022 wrist watches news:
It was one of the most talked-about watches of SIHH 2016 and with good reason: the IWC Mark XVIII is both a great looking instrument watch and a return to long-wished-for clarity and simplicity in the Mark series of wristwatches from IWC. We went hands-on with them in Geneva; read on to find out what impression they made "in the metal."The IWC Mark XVIII is the latest version in a series of watches that go all the way back to 1944, when the first of the Mark series of watches – the Mark X – was delivered to the UK. The Mark X wasn’t a pilot’s watch, but rather, a “general service” wristwatch intended for use in all service branches. The next in the series, however, was the Mark XI, which was first delivered to the RAF in 1948, and was intended specifically for use as a navigation wristwatch. 1 OF 8 The Original IWC Mark XI The movement – IWC caliber 89 – had center seconds (as opposed to the sub-seconds
I am purchasing the new GMT II with the ceramic bezel, and need some help navigating the Rolex world. If anyone cares to chime in with answers it would be appreciated.1. What is the true retail price of this watch?I have been quoted by $5950.00 by two Ads. Topnotch watch claims the retail is 8925.00, but they will sell it for 6595.00What is the true price2. What is the true wait timeOne AD told me I would have to put down a deposit and maybe in six to eight weeks I would have mine. The other AD tells me put down a 50% deposit and they will bring one in from another store (they are a national chain), but the can not guarantee one will be available until I put the money down.Topnotch has them right now.3. How can Topnotch have them in stock when ADs claim you have to wait anywhere from a couple of days to 6 to 8 weeks?4. Has anyone bought from Topnotch? I realize they are a sponsor, but why claim the retail price is $8925 in their ebay listing and then offer it for $6595.
Post them here!(And no doubt Dennis ("ulackfocus") will pop along soon to remind us to copy each post to the Incoming thread in the General forum....)
Here is my De Luca (first series), black dial, ofcourse El Primero movement.I prefered the first series because of - the plexi dial. Sapphire might be better in the way that it does not scratch but doomed plexi can be so beautifull - the text on the dial. I wanted as less words as possible so only the first series did not mention 'El Primero' and 'chronograph' - the hour markers that are rectangular and not the rounds dots - the hands which are very nice on this black version. I did not want the Rolex style Mercedes hands. The hands on the first series white dial De Luca are also nice ( AP RO and PP Nautilus style) but the dauphine are imo the most beautifull on this piece - no screw down pushers on the upper and lower pusher AFAIK these De Luca watches were made between 1988 and 1996. Since this is a first edition it must be from 1988 or 1989. I also found more about the production numbers on the net the 01.0042.400 (mine) was made in 1055 pieces in total. 375 in 1988 and 680 in 1989.
Hello everybody I'm from Italy, and I really like the AP watches ;)
