Cartier W51008Q4 wrist watches news:
Good morning! (at least where I am it's morning...)I was wondering about the strap on the Arctura Kinetic with the rubber strap with steel inserts. Anybody know how durable the strap is, and if it can be replaced with a standard straight edged leather strap? I realize that if it's possible it would have those little arcs in the dial where the OEM strap steel inserts sit, but would it work? I like the watch, but I've had rubber straps that didn't last too long, and I imagine an original strap would be pretty expensive compared to aftermarket! I would get the steel bracelet version, but it doesn't have quite the same dial. Thanks for any info.
Just got back from the watchmaker with my 90's Seiko. Needed new crystal and a clean. Can't believe how good it looks on the black leather strap.
I am looking something a bit more recent.
Maybe sans the running seconds.... Hmmm... with the platinum 5711 already the king of the nautilus curious what Mr. Stern will do...
