Invicta 7354 wrist watches news:
While the two big releases for Patek Philippe at Basel World this year both happened to be in stainless steel (the new Nautilus Chrono Travel Time 5990 / Annual Calendar Chrono 5960A), it's worth noting that one of its more understated and elegant, but important, timepieces received two updates. The reference 5140 is Patek's round, traditional perpetual calendar, and this year we saw two brand new dials. It is the follow up to the iconic 3940, which is considered to be one of the most important pieces of Patek's modern history – many consider it, along with the 3970, the first serially produced truly complicated timepiece. Its 20-year reign came to an end in 2006 when Patek showed the 5140, which would use the same ultra-thin, self-winding, micro-rotor-powered caliber 240Q. Since then, the 5140 has been shown in white gold, yellow gold, rose gold with brown dial, and platinum with a blue dial. 2 OF 4 The platinum case with a galvanized black dial features
I bought it yesterday, had the black rubber strap replaced with a brown croc from Omega:People tell me the watch looks great on the brown strap, not as comfortable as I was hoping it would be, do they "give" or fit better over time? It's kind of stiff and it doesn't follow the shape of my wrist very well.Very happy with it, I knew I would like this brand.I love Rolexes (as you can see in my signature I own two) but I like to mix it up, next up is probably an IWC or Panerai, don't tell my wife though...
Howdy,I've been looking for a Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT for a couple of months now and have finally found one for $200.00 plus shipping. Shipping is $47.00, bank Wire is $30.00 and Customs will be about $21.00.It currently has a rubber strap, but with extra holes punched in it. I have been looking for one with the Brown Leather Strap.Question:Would I be better off to wait for a unit that has the Brown Leather Strap I'm looking for or should I jump all over this deal and try and find the proper strap later?Cheers,Chris
1st post, so I hope this is in the right spot...Does anyone know where I can find an Oceanus dealer in the Chicago area? The Oceanus website didn't help me one dealer no longer sells them and the other only had 2 models.I've already done my homework online, and I'm on the verge of buying the m800. I only wish I could try it on my wrist and compare other models before sinking the cash. Many thanks
I have a A serial 16710 which I've owned since 1999... It's always run perfectly. I sent it in to Rolex for a factory service in 2013, they also did a light polish on it. How does factory polishing effect the future value of these watches? Should I refrain from having it factory serviced again if they always polish them?
