- I love the watch. I got my husband a beautiful classic Movado (not a museum watch) when we got married 20 years ago, and he still wears it every day. Mine is very simple - no second hand, no date, etc., but that's what I wanted.

Movado 0606334 wrist watches news:
During Susan and I recent visit to Switzerland, we had the priviledge among other thing to be invited to Longines Private Museum. They have records hand written going back to 1901. They pulled out the actual entries for BOTH my 1915 and 1926 Longines. I actually touched(and photographed) the hand written records with the name of the manager that supervised these watches! Then Longines did something outstanding. They took the vintage Longines watch (that I had bought her) off Susans wrist took it away, then brought back all the records. The watch was made one month prior to Susans birth. How great is that??This exhibition cover 30 million Longines watches or 130 yrs of history of Longines. The exhibition/museum is very clever it covers from 1867 - 1899. But EACH display is set EXACTLY 1m watches apart. That may be 1 yr or in the depression 4 yrs.Additionally it has some 'watches' you would never believe/guess. LKike in 1954 the FIRST quartz timekeeper. 1954!!!!I took many pictures,
Can anybody identify this as an Elgin made by the original Elgin company, or if it is a later one? I tend to think it's the original company because it looks like a style from the right period.
Oh happy day cometh tomorrow as I fly to Geneva for my near 12 month wait for THE 5990! But to make this day even sweeter and as the kind gentleman said, ¡°it¡¯s not that often you¡¯re in Geneva so I will also have available for you the 5930G on your wish list¡±.I almost dropped the phone and started screaming into the telephone like an F1 driver thanking everyone as he yelled into the helmet.I will for sure post photos! THANK YOU Patek Phillipe Geneva!!
I have been contemplating a perpetual calendar (5140) to compliment my perpetual calendar chronograph (5270). After doing extensive research I have noticed when comparing the perpetual calendars to their chronograph parallel the value just has not been there in the previous references which tells me maybe not to purchase the current 5140 if I were to go long for the future.. Looking at previous perpetual references.. the 3940 and prior has not done nearly as well as the 5970.. 3970 etc. The perpetual calendar chrono's mostly hold their retail value and or increase versus the 3940 etc.. which one can find at significant discounts below retail.. I know one is a chrono and the other is not.. but is there any other reason to this madness?
Hi Guys,I just received my first Panerai today, PAM320. I was looking to buy another Rolex (Hulk) but got the Panerai bug. I was looking for 44mm case with clear back case, in-house automatic movement, seconds hand, date, GMT and power reserve indicator so that short listed my choices to 320/321 and 270. 270 is 5-6k more expensive than 320/321 here in Canada and 321 dial is too busy for my liking so I ended up ordering PAM320. So happy with my choice
