Bell & Ross BR03-94PHANTOM wrist watches news:
Yvan Arpa's Artya watches once again debuts a surprise piece unique model at the upper end of what we might expect from the boutique Geneva-based Swiss "art watch" maker. Rather than deforming a watch case with high voltage electricity or decorating a dial with spiders, insect wings, or human blood, we get the Artya Arabesque Tourbillon that is decorated with hand-engraving. What type of hand engraving? Arabesque engravingand they threw in a tourbillon. While timepieces such as this are rare for Artya, they aren't totally unheard of either. Moreover, Yvan Arpa has plenty of experience with extremely high-end watches. Just a few years ago, watches-dealer covered another brand he is involved with called Spero Lucem, with the "crazy hands" La Clemence tourbillon minute repeater. We also went hands-on with the Artya Son of a Gun Tourbillon watch here. For summer 2015, we now have the Artya Arabesque Tourbillon, and according to Yvan Arpa it is inspired by the Wild West.So much of the design
Being new to posting photos, and not being the most computer savy person in the group, I'm trying this test. If it works...I'll post more. You all will have to forgive the quality of the photos; I used a borrowed point-and-shoot.Enough small talk. Here goes. Arrival:
Well thanks to the help and guidance of G.J. and Fr John+ I will be joining the Omega Speedy Pro family this week. Just wired the money today for a fun little piece, a 3572.50! Just in time for the Olympics an Omega's big sponsorship hehe.I got a great deal on the watch and couldn't be happier. I already ordered up a few gator straps for it set. Arrival date for the watch and straps is Thursday, potentially Friday.Pics to come solo and with the rest of the family when it arrives on Thursday!
GuysYou probably know that I was looking to cash in on my loyalty card offers and put them towards an Omega Moonwatch. However, now the Moonwatch is almost Rolex money I'm kinda stuck.I had been thinking of buying my 6 month old son a watch and sticking it in the safe (with regular servicing) so that when he's 21 he gets a sweet vintage watch. At Goldsmiths I have seen this...However, I know bugger all about Seamasters. This is the 41mm automatic movement...it's about ¡ê1300. With my vouchers next year I could pick one of these up for free. What do you think? Can you give me any info on it?J
During a recent interview, Patek Philippe President Thierry Stern was asked about allocation for the newly released 5522. Mr. Stern described his vision of the 5522 in steel as an affordable Patek, designed to be within reach of the new Patek enthusiast. A chance for those without the means to purchase one of Patek's more expensive complications to still have the opportunity to own something nice.He then expanded his thoughts further:It has to be a split that is fair for everybody. So the task for our own agency here in New York would be first to dispatch to all the retailers. And then the retailers will have the task to allocate them. But I really hope that they will also allocate those pieces to somebody who is not a very big collector. It has to be also for someone who as I just said, who is young, who is going to start with Patek Philippe; we should also give him the chance to wear such a piece.Without referencing any particular AD, I would ask Patek owners and forum readers to con
