Patek Philippe 5102PR-001 wrist watches news:
Hi friends,My wife and I just returned from Hawaii and I wanted to share some photos I took. This was on our first morning, outside of Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu:What could be at the bottom of the rainbow? Here is a shot I was barely able to take since I couldn't keep the camera still on the horse! We went on a two hour trail ride through the Kualoa ranch valley where they have filmed several movies like Jurassic Park, Godzilla, and currently filming the series LOST. My wife thought I was crazy for taking this picture and looking at my wrist so intently while the view all around me was so amazing. We also spent a lot of time on Molokai beach on the north shore of Oahu, it was segregated from the tourists and absolutely beautiful. Thanks for looking!
By a vote of WTF members in December, 2007, an overwhelming majority approved the formation of a new forum, focusing on Hamilton watches. So on January 1, 2008 on behalf of my colleague and co-moderator, foghorn, we welcome you to our new home. This original American brand, born in Lancaster, PA in 1892 has a rich history and tradition. Among the highlights are the Broadway Limited, a pocket watch that made the railways safe, serving the US Army with the company's first wristwatch, and the design of the first electric and digital watches. With roots in fine Swiss watchmaking tradition, this American company became part of the Swatch Group in the 1990's yet it has not forgotten its American upbringing, values, and style. We hope you visit often, posting comments, pictures, questions and anything related to Hamilton watches.
Hi all,I have recently inherited a Chandler 17 Jewels Incabloc winding pocket watch and was wondering if anyone could give me any info, i have had the back off and can see the mechinisam and it says swiss and 17 jewels on it, on the back case there is some number 15,21-6 and some some tiny number and what looks like signatures that i just cant make out with the naked eye.I have included a picture but do to having a rubbish camera its really not clear. I'm just trying to find out when the watch was made really and a bit of history, for example was it mass produced (which it looks like it could be) is it a 'brand' watch. anything really.Thank you in advance to anyone who can help
i am seriously thinking of trading in my 2012 Rolex DSSD to a 2004 AP ROO SS.i have seen the watch. it's in excellent condition. problem is, i had it vibro tested last saturday and it seems that it loses around 18 seconds a day.the AP has never been serviced, it's a safe queen... never got that much wrist time so the owner agreed to a trade...i'm adding a little cash of course.should i go for it or this'll just give me problems in the future...???tnx for the time guys....
